As a former meteorologist, I think "Weather Systems" is a perfectly good title! Even if it does sound more suited to an album by North Atlantic Oscillation.

This album represents an ever too often connundrum for me.

I want April here now, as I want the album now. But I always complain how fast time is flying by and want it to slow down. But no I want the album now, if time slows down i dont get to hear it for ages....but April will be here before i know it, god damn it time slow down, life is flashing before my eyes! But i want the album hurry up ............ - you get the idea haha.

Now that promo copies are out, I expect a mini-site to go live within the next week or so (with samples!). Probably here or linked here: http://www.kscopemusic.com/anathema/

Free track:

I think it doesn't sound much like Anathema. Not necessarily negative, just different. Although I generally dislike the random and generic guitar solo in the middle of the song.

I really liked it after one listen, especially the main piano/guitar riff.

This is a 4 minute song of a 50+ minute album....and I get the feeling it's gonna have a lot of variation on it. So don't expect the whole thing to sound like this.

I'm in love.
It sounds so beautiful, I just can't stop listening. Already much better than WHBWH.

f**king killer track...Danny is on a stellar roll , what an awesome sounding track and that solo is truly sublime. Totally takes the track to another level. Can't wait for this one, I remember this is what it used to feel like awaiting a new PT release....

The track isn't bad as such. They should have explored it more though. Now it's just one riff going on and on.

It's a brilliant song. I think it takes great skill to have a song essentially consisting off the one riff and pack it full of emotion and power combined with subtle changes and  lyrics that seem to fit perfectly. I could listen to this over and over. Really looking forward to the album.

Growing on me this song. I don't hate the generic solo anymore. Now it is just a small annoyance Tongue

Plus I feel this album will have 'parts' and I feel though this song is sort of a transition piece on the album, and it just works with one riff, amazing.

Vocals definitely sound different. Not the strongest song by them, but it's not bad. Anxiously awaiting my LP! But I have TSMS which just shipped out so that'll keep me preoccupied for awhile.  Grin
