I have no problem with Steven's artwork. Isn't it his choice anyway?

To me, Lasse is part of the essence of the PT feel. I enjoy both his and Carl's work.
No moving on.

Didnt realise anyone questioned if it was his choice?

The only thing I would like to see is someone else designing the next PT front cover. Lasse should carry on with the booklets and SW should stick with Carl for everything else. It'd be nice to see an entirely different cover for the next PT record.

Three Porcupine Tree album covers so far have featured a closeup of a hand - four if you count Stupid Dream Mk II. Considering Steven's penchant for performing in bare feet, it's about time we had a foot featured on the cover.

LH: keep it

CG in combination with BC: keep the artwork, but change the "music"!

I think Steve/Tree should use whatever the hell they want!

Would I make different choices?  Of course!  I'm a different entity than they are.  But it is their art and their choice!

Carl is awesome - I think he should be utilized more. I'd like to see something other than Lasse at some point, but it's up to them, not anyone else.

I'm bored with Lasses work. Seems so random and juvenile to me.

I really dig CG's work though. I wish he was more involved with the PT/SW visuals...

Pretty sure the "typing robot" vids for Sleep Together were not Lasse in fact it was some Polish animation artist.

As long as PT exists it will have Hoile's artwork and films, unfortunately.

I'm also pretty sure the robot ones (Bonnie The Cat, Start Of Something Beautiful, Sleep Together) are by someone entirely different, too.

I really like Wilson's music, even though it is too bleak to ever be my favorite [write a HAPPY song , Steve].
So it's weird that I can't stand Wilson's artistic ideas.
I never liked Lassie Hoile's work.
But for Wilson, Hoile is his Roger Dean, and he may never change.
And of course I would not want a "Going For The One" or "Tormato" cover, now would I.

Ok now I'm not sure if you make it on purpose but this one is actually pretty funny Grin.
