I am allowing multiple votes as this is a awesome album and I'd hate to limit anyone to just one vote. Let's go!

I voted Blood and Oxygen, but I'd also add Waving.

I ticked all of them except Go To Hell, Far Away and On the Plane. Not that I actively dislike amy of those, I just like them less.

Go To Hell annoys me with its repetitive use of the word "Fuck". I don't mind that they use the word, I just think it's overdone. The song is redeemed by the unusual rhythm structure, making it sound almost more like a Porcupine Tree song than a Blackfield one.

Far Away is... just ... nice. It typifies the reason why I have not picked up the first two Blackfield albums; It's pleasant to listen to but does not jump out at me as a song I need to hear again and again. It's possible this one will grow on me a bit more.

I consider On the Plane to be the weakest track. "Daddy's on the plane" is not a great lyric, and I find the song, like much of Blackfield's work, to be pleasant, hummable even, but fairly bland.

All the others are very good; if I had to pick my favourites they would be Rising of the Tide, Waving, Dissolving With the Night and Zigota. Oh hell, maybe throw in Oxygen and DNA as well. You can see why I found it easier to select the few tracks I like less.   Smiley

Just for the record: the chorus in Scars and verse in This Killer are also in 7/8. The Hole In Me alternates between 5/4 and 6/8. My point being that Blackfield (or more specyfically: Aviv) are no strangers to unusual time signatures. The same thing can be observed on some of Aviv's solo albums too.
